| The Snowy Egret is not uncommonly found prowling the shoreline of inlets and estuaries in northeast Florida searching for its preferred meal of small fish and crustaceans. The illustrated specimen was so intent on securing its next meal that it was oblivious to the cautious approach of the photographer. |
