Gastrocopta pellucida (L. Pfeiffer, 1841) Slim Snaggletooth In Situ

    Attached to underside of small piece of concrete, Sisters Creek Marina, Heckscher Drive, Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida 1/11/2008 (about 1.5 mm.) The two Gastrocopta are pictured with the much larger Pupoides modicus (Gould, 1848) with which they frequently share a habitat at this location.
